So I've wanted to be a lawyer for a long time for a lot of different reasons. I always saw the profession as a way to help other people. But when I was younger, my father was injured at work and he was initially left paralyzed and ultimately he passed away from his injuries. And going through that experience with my family obviously left a pretty significant impression. And so when I had the opportunity to become a lawyer, to go to law school and to choose which kind of law I wanted to practice, that had a lot of impact on me. And obviously, I'm a work comp attorney now, and it's because of my father. I enjoy being a lawyer. To be honest, there's a lot of stress involved with it. When you are helping someone through a difficult time in your life, you sometimes take their problems as if they're your own. And to be honest, there's a lot of sleepless nights as you try to figure out what you're going to do. But at the same time, to the extent that you have that stress and problems when you do break through and when you do solve the problems, the joy you have in doing that is that much greater. We try to practice law with the goal of helping our clients get whatever they're entitled to under the law. We try to put our clients first. We try to look at what their needs are and we try to help them achieve what we can within the bounds of the law. When we set up an appointment to take someone as a new potential client, they can expect that they're going to meet with me. From the minute they walk in the door, they're going to meet me. As the case progresses and at key points during the case, I'm going to meet with them, I'm going to find out what their issues are, and I'm going to be trying to solve those issues. When I'm not practicing law, I like to collect books. I have a pretty good book collection. To me, books are a source of knowledge. Most of what we do online these days is, you know, look at a computer screen and get our information. But I still love the feel of a good book in my hand and I like to read. That's enough about me. Let's talk about you. If you've been injured or if you have questions, let's set up a time when you can come in and we can meet and I can find out how I can help you.
